Abuja (FCT) › Kubwa
Kubwa is in Bwari Area Council, north-west of Abuja city centre along the Kubwa Expressway corridor. It is a large satellite town with established neighbourhoods, estate housing, local shops and services. The name covers a broad area, so use the phase, estate and street when locating a home.
The Kubwa Expressway, also called Murtala Mohammed Expressway, is the main connection towards central Abuja. Internal roads serve the town's different residential areas. A home close to the expressway and one farther inside an estate can have different daily journeys even if both are advertised as Kubwa.
Kubwa can suit households whose work, schools or family connections are on Abuja's north-western side. Housing includes bungalows, terraces, flats and larger houses. Check wet-season access, drainage, water, backup power and the final road to the property, and test your actual weekday commute before renting.

Estates in Kubwa
FHA Kubwa, also called Federal Housing Authority Kubwa Estate, is an established estate within Kubwa. The Federal Housing Authority records its development in phases, so the phase and site name help identify a property's location.
Housing includes bungalows, terraces and duplexes. The age, alterations and condition of individual homes vary; inspect the property and confirm its layout, parking, water supply and access road. Use the full phase, site and street when arranging a viewing rather than assuming every FHA Kubwa address is at the same entrance.
