Cabans uses value-based pricing — a small annual listing fee calculated as a percentage of your advertised property value. There is no commission on guest enquiries. On bookings guests pay online, Cabans takes a 5% commission, and the guest pays Paystack’s payment fee on top. See the pricing page for full details.

Yes — Cabans supports short let listings across all Nigerian cities. Lagos (Lekki, Ikoyi, VI, Oniru, Ajah), Abuja (Maitama, Wuse 2, Asokoro), Port Harcourt, and every other location are fully supported.

Yes — vacation rentals, holiday homes, and serviced apartments for short-term stays are all supported on Cabans under the Short Let listing type.

Include your nightly or weekly rate, available amenities (WiFi, kitchen, air conditioning, 24/7 power supply, parking), minimum stay requirement, and high-quality photos of every room. Short lets with 8+ photos and detailed amenity lists receive significantly more enquiries.

Guests search Cabans by city, area, number of bedrooms, and price range. When your short let matches their filters, it appears in results. If you take bookings online, guests pick free dates on your calendar and pay through Paystack; if not, they send you an enquiry.

Yes. Bookings are on by default. On your listing’s edit page, open “Availability, prices and booking rules”, close dates you cannot host and press “Review and save calendar”. Switch off “Take bookings online” to stop new bookings. Guests pick dates and pay securely through Paystack. With “Instant book” on, paid bookings are confirmed straight away; with it off, you accept or decline each paid request within your answer time (24 hours unless you choose another).

Within 7 days after the guest’s stay, and sooner when the guest approves the payment after the trip. You receive the stay amount minus any refunds and Cabans’ 5% commission. The guest pays Paystack’s payment fee, so it does not come out of your money.

Yes, until the free-cancellation time you choose: 24 hours, or 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 14 or 30 days before check-in (2 days if you choose nothing). A guest who cancels in time gets back 100% of the booking. Paystack’s payment fee is not refunded. A guest who books after that time has passed cannot cancel, and sees this before paying.

Yes. Set a fixed caution deposit in naira on your listing. The guest pays it once with the booking. After check-out you check the property, then release the deposit or raise a dispute if something was damaged. If there is a dispute, the Cabans team looks at both sides and decides.
