Houses for Rent in Ikotun

About Houses for Rent in Ikotun

Ikotun is one of Lagos' most affordable house rental markets, in Alimosho LGA on the Lagos mainland. 3-bedroom houses rent from ₦450k–₦1m per annum; 4-bedroom detached houses from ₦700k–₦1.5m. The area is predominantly working-class and lower-middle-class, with a dense mix of compound houses and newer blocks. Road access to Oshodi via Ikotun Road takes 30–45 minutes; the Oshodi Red Line rail hub provides onward access to Lagos Island. BRT connections are available on the Iyana Ipaja–Oshodi axis. Power supply is PHCN-grid-dependent; generator backup in compound buildings varies by landlord. Flood risk is moderate in lower-lying areas near drainage channels — inspect after rain before committing to a ground-floor or basement-level unit. Best suited for workers prioritising affordability with employment reachable via the Oshodi corridor.
