Ikeja is a major short let market driven by Lagos airport proximity. Business travellers, transit passengers, and domestic visitors frequently book Ikeja short lets over airport hotels. Homes near the airport with 24-hour power and fast WiFi can charge more a night. Key listing tip: always specify your proximity to Murtala Muhammed Airport — include driving time in minutes. State 24/7 power status, parking, and WiFi speed explicitly. Corporate travellers working in Alausa (state government) or the Oregun industrial zone are a second major segment. Hosts near the airport should mention pickup/dropoff services if available — this is a strong conversion factor for transit guests.
