Aguda is a settled residential neighbourhood in Surulere Local Government Area, on the Lagos mainland. It is on the western side of Surulere, near Ijeshatedo, Itire and Lawanson, and is one of the calmer and more affordable parts of the district. Aguda is central, which is its main advantage. Minibuses and tricycles run from Pako and the Aguda bus stops to Ojuelegba, Lawanson, Masha and Adeniran Ogunsanya Street. From Ojuelegba and Funsho Williams Avenue, still widely called Western Avenue, buses run to Lagos Island over Eko Bridge and to Yaba, Ikeja and Oshodi. On the other side, the roads through Ijeshatedo lead to the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway for Mile 2, Festac, Oshodi and Apapa.
