Adeniyi Jones Avenue is a mixed residential and commercial road in Ikeja, in Ikeja Local Government Area on the Lagos mainland. It runs from Oba Akran Avenue towards the Ogba side of Ikeja, and Aromire Avenue links it to the Allen Avenue and Obafemi Awolowo Way junction. The avenue itself is lined with offices, banks, car dealers, schools and event centres, while the side streets off it hold blocks of flats and houses. Where Adeniyi Jones Avenue starts and ends

The frontage is mostly commercial. Company offices, bank branches, car showrooms, private schools, clinics, event centres, eateries and supermarkets have taken over many of the plots that face the road, often in converted houses or purpose-built low-rise office blocks. Because Oba Akran Avenue is at one end, a number of the businesses serve the industrial estate: logistics, equipment and professional services firms.

The side streets are the residential part. The avenue is a useful cut-through between Oba Akran Avenue and the Ogba and Allen sides of Ikeja, so it is busy at peak hours, and the Oba Akran and Aromire junctions are the usual slow points. Buses, tricycles and ride-hailing cars are easy to find on the avenue. Central Ikeja, Computer Village, Alausa and the airport are all on the same side of the city, which is the main reason people choose to live here. Heavy rain can leave water standing on lower sections of some streets, so look at the drains on the exact street you are considering.
