Most managed Lekki short let operators offer significant discounts for stays of 7 nights or longer. A ₦60k/night 2-bedroom unit may be available at ₦380k/week (saving roughly ₦40k) or ₦1.2m/month (saving roughly ₦600k vs. daily rate). Always negotiate if you are staying more than 5 nights.
The quoted nightly rate often excludes: diesel surcharge (₦5k–₦15k/day), electricity levy, service fee (10–15% on some platforms), and caution deposit (typically ₦30k–₦100k refundable). Ask for a full itemised quote before confirming. The all-in cost can be 30–50% above the headline nightly rate.
Lekki short let cancellation policies vary widely — from full refund within 48 hours to non-refundable after deposit. For Q4 bookings in particular, many operators require non-refundable deposits of 30–50%. Understand the policy before transferring any money. Request cancellation terms in writing (not verbally).
